(Still) Life with strangers is a conversation, an exploration, and an experience of connection and disconnection. I was curious about the paths we create as we move from place to place, intimacy and connection with ones self, with ones experience and memory, and with the people who cross our path, who we do not know at all. And the process of changing all that.
Still life is presented as a 2 Channel Video installation with asynchronous soundtrack. It is comprised of conversations and videos made with strangers while lying down together, digital sound fragments stolen from video chat rooms, and various choreographed and recorded moments.
